Dr. Parul and Dr. Guru Prasad Hindupur, a health-conscious family, sought a natural and eco-friendly lifestyle. Their journey from diverse backgrounds to a shared vision led them to Organo Damaragidda. Their desire for a holistic, environmentally responsible life aligns perfectly with Organo's ethos.
Family Life and Origin
Dr. Guru Prasad's upbringing as an army kid took him across India, while Dr. Parul grew up in the military campus of Ajmer, where her parents worked as academicians. The couple, both accomplished medical professionals, reside in the Secunderabad cantonment area with their two daughters, Ishita and Manasvini. Their upbringing in close-knit, green environments cultivated a deep appreciation for nature and a desire to provide a wholesome lifestyle for their family.
“I would make conscious choices for my family as well as the planet.”
Discovering Damaragidda
Their shared commitment to natural living and health-conscious choices led them on a quest to find a home that resonated with their values. Dr. Parul's awareness of environmental issues and her passion for natural living influenced their decision. They were drawn to Organo's holistic approach, including concepts like the goshala, bio pool, afforestation measures, and sustainable energy solutions. When they encountered Organo's vision, it was an instant connection.
Dr. Parul recalls, "When we saw the Organo book, everything written in it resonated with us. Whatever we thought we wanted in a home and wondered if it is possible were all written in the articles."
“We love the location of Damaragidda. It has the perfect rural backdrop. And with Organo’s expertise and farsightedness, we’re 100% sure they will transform the community into a piece of nature’s wonder,” - Dr. Guru.
A Journey Back to Nature
Dr. Parul fondly reminisces about her childhood in Ajmer, where she enjoyed the simple pleasures of nature, climbing trees, and playing outdoors. She laments the modern era's gadget-driven childhoods and wonders why today's children can't experience the same joys she did. As doctors, they've observed the rise of lifestyle disorders in younger generations and questioned the quality of food available.
Dr. Guru Prasad adds, "Our grand parents enjoyed long, healthy lives without these so-called 'healthy foods.' Parul and I would often have conversations that we may be successful as doctors but are we doing the right thing as parents of two young daughters."
Driven by these concerns and inspired by their grandparents' healthy lifestyles, the couple embarked on a journey towards natural living. They educated themselves about the perils of global warming, inorganic agriculture, plastic usage, and the benefits of desi gir cowmilk.
Their decision to invest in Organo Damaragidda was solidified when they found that Organo's values aligned perfectly with their own. The lush greenery, fresh farm produce, and holistic community living at Organo Naandi and Antaram affirmed their choice. Damaragidda's rural backdrop and Organo's vision of creating a nature-centric community sealed the deal.
Dr. Parul eagerly anticipates waking up to glorious sunrises, forest baths, and interacting with fellow residents, while their daughters are thrilled about the prospect of living amidst nature. The couple envisions Organo Damaragidda as the perfect community for their daughters to flourish and fine-tune their talents.
Their journey underscores the importance of finding a harmonious balance between modern living and a deep connection to nature. They await the realization of yet another marvel at Organo Damaragidda, eager to nurture their family's health and creativity within a thriving natural ecosystem.
“I can’t wait to wake up to glorious sunrises, bathing in the forest, taking long nature walks, eating fresh food, and interacting with the other residents.”
